The 4As Creative Advisory Panel (CAP) welcomes three new members to its committee; Chris Chiu, Executive Creative Director of Leo Burnett Singapore, Steve Llewellyn, Executive Creative Director of Bates 141 Singapore, and Valerie Cheng, Creative Director of Arc Worldwide. They replace three members - Ng Tian It, Robert Gaxiola and Mark Chung - who recently left for overseas placements.
Chiu was recently appointed Chairman of the Creative Circle Awards 2008, and is no stranger to being at the forefront of the advertising and marketing sector having been around in the creative line since 1992. He currently sits on the Leo Burnett Global Creative Board.
Llewellyn has over 16 years of integrated creative and design experience. His experience in Europe and Asia, working on promotional and direct marketing solutions has enabled many campaigns to launch successfully in local, regional and global markets.
Cheng has had over 12 years of digital marketing experience gained from a range of local, regional and international clients. She helped to make Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide the biggest winner in the integrated category at the recent Creative Circle Awards.
“We're very fortunate to be working with Chris, Steve and Valerie. They bring with them vast experience in their respective disciplines, which is vital for the industry,” says Angus Fraser, ex-officio of CAP and Chairman of 4As Creative Standards Committee.
The CAP, headed by Linda Locke of Godmother Consulting, now makes up a nine-member team comprising representatives from local and international agencies.
CAP was set up in 2006 to serve as an expert resource for the 4As to identify, develop and maintain the highest level of creative standards for the industry as well as advise the 4As' Executive Committee on issues and matters relating to the creative sector.
