The Creative Industries is growing amidst the current downturn. Job conversion and training opportunities abound as demand for creative talent continues to increase.
The Creative Industries (CI) Fair 2009 is the first of its kind that the Government is organising to showcase various opportunities such as jobs, career conversion and skills upgrading in the Creative sectors covering the Arts & Culture, Media & Communications, and the Design subsectors.
Organised by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), it is supported by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA), National Arts Council (NAC), Media Development Authority (MDA), Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), DesignSingapore Council (DSG), and SPRING Singapore.
The CI Fair 2009 will be held from February 28 to March 1 at Marina Square atrium. It will feature at least 300 jobs, 100 apprenticeship places, and 1,000 training opportunities. Visitors can interact with key industry players and professionals through presentations, forums, workshops and demonstrations.
