The CLIO Awards, honoring creative excellence and innovation in the advertising, design and interactive industries, is now accepting submissions online at www.clioawards.com.

CLIO will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary with five new and distinct award shows for; The Moving Image Awards, The Emerging Media Awards, The Print & Radio Awards, The Design Awards and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

“This anniversary represents the CLIO’s continued dedication to honoring the best and most innovative leaders in the industry, while also recognizing the ever-changing advertising and design environment. What better way to honor the diversity of the creative community than to spotlight the mediums with distinct events during this year’s CLIO Festival,” said Wayne Youkhana, director of the CLIO Awards.

The CLIO Festival, which has been held in Miami the past few years, will be hosted at a new venue – Las Vegas – in May 2009.

CLIO is accepting submissions for work that appeared between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. The entry deadline is January 23, 2009.
