Although the 4As has originally made big plans for the 60th anniversary celebrations, they have scaled it down in light of the economic climate. They will now be having a party on May 21 at the Bellini Grande to commemorate the occasion.

The CHESTNUTS - Singapore's one and only live parody sketch show, will be the highlight of the evening, in addition a walk down memory lane.

The CHESTNUTS is a unique brand of parody mixes a contemporary style of satire (think MAD TV meets Saturday Night Live) with a quirky Singapore twist, a comedy experience not to be missed.

Agencies, advertisers and media partners are expected to be at the event.

"We have promised to make it entertaining and fun, so it shall be. Besides hiring one the finest entertainers in town, there will be games, lucky draw and lots of networking opportunities. Even in this recessionary climate, we need to let our hair down once a while, to relax and have fun," said Angus Fraser, Chairman of the anniversary committee.
