Do you think the Crowbar Awards is a good platform for creative students to break into the creative industry and would you recommend them to participate in the Crowbar Awards? If yes, what advice would you give them?
The Crowbar Awards is judged by industry professionals. It’s an invaluable recognition of your creativity and also a great benchmark by which you can measure yourself against the competition. It really prepares you for the ever-competitive agency environment. My advice to students is to participate with their best works, only then will you be discovered!
Did the internship program at Fallon Minneapolis sharpen your creativity/skills?
A real eye-opener. We met some of the most passionate creative heads at Fallon Minneapolis and got a chance to “yam cha” with Pat Fallon. But the most important lesson I took away from the experience was to always stay passionate, curious and humble.
What are you currently working on? Tell us more about it.
I’m currently working on projects for Volvo, Tiger Airways, F&N and Far East Organization. I’m also working on some personal projects with friends. I’m always on the lookout for new creative opportunities in every brief I receive.
Where do you get inspiration for new ideas?
Feeling, playing and experiencing. I’m always inspired by great ideas from people around me, and I’m lucky to have some very energetic and passionate friends and seniors who keep me motivated all the time. They are a great help in generating new ideas.
