With
this first My4AsNews issue of 2008,
a fresh year arrives and a celebration
begins - our 60th anniversary!
As this 60th year unfolds, we hope
you'll celebrate with us. Something
we're looking forward to this year
is the redesign of the 4As logo.
We feel it is time to refresh it
as we enter another era. The current
logo, designed by John Hagley, has
been our emblem since 1982. Next
month starts the call for entries
to re-design the 4As logo and we
look forward to all your support
and participation.
Another interesting development
is the inaugural Young Creatives
Competition that is set to launch
in the first quarter of 2008. The
winners will be sent to Cannes to
represent Singapore for the Cannes
Young Lions competition.
On the business front, we will soon
roll out the introduction of the
advisory list to provide an avenue
for members to share information
on delinquent clients who leave
a trail of bad debts from one agency
to another.
As we move along in 2008, there
will be other initiatives that we
will be looking at - some new and
some old that we will revisit. You
will hear from us and I assure you
this will certainly not be the last!
On behalf of the 4As, we wish you
all the best for 2008.
Cheers,
Chua Bee Hong
