Festive holiday fervor together with copious amounts of nostalgia fills the
air at our 4As nest. This year, we are not only reflective of a successful
2008 which is soon about to draw to a close but would rather focus our
attention on the past 60 years of the advertising milieu in Singapore.
We would be honoured to have you take a walk down memory lane with us to
celebrate the evolution of advertising in Singapore.
Not wanting to reveal too much, all I can say is that we have scaled down the
original celebratory plans in light of the global financial crisis.
Although we have cancelled the opening event that was scheduled for the end
of the year, we will work towards the anniversary party in March that will
coincide with the end of the association's annual calendar.
Keep your senses heightened for our launch in January announcing what to
look out for - the shortlist for the collection of the top ten advertising
icons, slogans/taglines, campaigns, and we want your vote of what makes the
