In this issue, we interview Danny Lim, Director of Kingsmen Ooh-media, who shares with us the company's vision and his views on the evolving OOH industry.
1. Kingsmen Ooh-media was formed in 2005. Branded as an out-of-home media solution arm of Kingsmen. Tell us more about what Kingsmen Ooh-media does.
A subsidiary company of Kingsmen Creatives, we are an independent Out-of-Home media specialist & professional services company. Focused in delivering integrated out-of-home advertising & media solution, we embrace and adopt proven methodologies and best practices in helping our clients and their advertising agencies determine optimal outdoor advertising platforms complete with research and analytical support.
2. What is Kingsmen Ooh-media's vision, and what are your plans for the company?
We aspire to be the best Out-of-home media specialist through our effort and commitment in delivering OOH solutions to our clients and continually strive to be competent and professional in all we do. We are genuinely interested in making it better for those we serve, and we work to earn our partners' trust by satisfying needs and improving effectiveness.
3. How do you see the media landscape evolving and what would be the future media trends?
It's all about integrated marketing strategy. Identifying the best media platform and developing creative message to engage consumer effectively whether they are at home, work, play or leisure! A combination of OOH platforms, traditional advertising and interactive elements to reach out to an increasingly mobile audience.
4. What do you think are the major challenges facing the media industry in Singapore over the next few years?
We are challenged and excited by the positive changing media landscape. We recognize OOH as an integral part of the media mix. This is an opportunity when innovative, interactive and effective OOH media solution will change the landscape. It's an adventure and we're in it together. Therefore, we encourage creativity and acceptance of change to deliver best results.
5. What's the latest exciting campaign that Kingsmen Ooh-media has done?
We recently ran a campaign for the movie, “Meet The Robinsons”. Targeted at primary school children, a total of 15 school buses had their exterior wrapped and interior stickers on the back of the seats.
