The media industry's annual Singapore Media Awards were handed out on 21 September during a Gala Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia, with OMD Singapore clinching the Media Agency of the Year award. This is the first time that SMA is presenting the award, honouring the agency that tops the results tally. |

Whatever and Anything to incorporate students' winning ideas in next campaign |

The two winning teams with the best ideas from the recent Crowbar Breaking In Workshop presented their ideas to Out of the Box (OOTB), the distributing company for Anything and Whatever. Both ideas were well liked by OOTB and will be incorporated in the next Anything and Whatever campaign, and OOTB will fly both teams to Bangkok to witness the filming of the TVC, where their ideas will be used in the commercial.

Crowbar Winners – Where Are They Now?

In 2002, Ang Sheng Jin made history when he walked off with 23 awards — the most awards ever won by a student at the Crowbars. Since graduating from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts, he has added to his string of accolades with numerous awards at international shows like the D&AD's, One Show, and Cannes . Sheng Jin is currently at JWT Singapore as an Art Director and works with clients such as HSBC and Unilever.

I-S Magazine is Shouting Louder than Ever

I-S Magazine recently went through a redevelopment. The first redesigned issue was out 5 October. It was a total upgrade to better server their urban professional readership.
Part of the redesign was to make I-S Magazine more reader friendly, introducing a more sophisticated environment for advertisers. There's now also a clearer distinction between editorial and advertising.
The new I-S will offer a more sophisticated environment for many new categories of advertisers who want to reach out to Singapore 's top consumers. |
